Time for Scribes!
This year you will be doing something a bit different in math class. Each day we will have a "scribe." As you might know, a scribe is a person who is a writer, or journalist. He or she records important information for others to read. Your job as the class scribe will be to write about the day's math lesson, including important facts and examples as presented in class. The purpose will be for anyone who has missed or for anyone who needs to recap the lesson to be able to log onto our class site and get the information they need. Your challenge will be to make your post as appealing and creative as possible. Add graphics to jazz it up. You can make your graphics in paint or better yet, use Smartboard software and save as a jpeg. You can also use a digital camera and post pictures if appropriate. You may NOT use a pre-made graphic found from the internet!
You will post approximately 4 times this year and each post will be marked using a rubric presented in class. Be creative, appropriate....and have FUN!!
